The most important sentence of your book is the one that tells you what you are writing.

(And stops you from spinning your wheels.)

In two days of live classes, you’ll walk out with that one line.

—> The line that helps you answer “So, what are you working on?”

—> The line that keeps your draft on target, and cuts through the confusion

—> The line that gets you excited to sit down and work on the book

—> The line that gets your book finished.

Stop spinning your wheels

You’ve started this book more than once.

There’s a document somewhere with four different first chapters in it. Maybe five.

You’ve outlined it. Then re-outlined it, then outlined it again. You’ve described it to someone at a party and watched their eyes do that polite glaze-over—because, yeah. Deep inside you know how important this book is, but you can’t quite figure out how to articulate it.

Here’s the thing, though.

You’re in good company.

Distilling a lifetime’s worth of stories, frameworks, lessons, and insights into a 45-65k word volume is extremely hard.

Writing something you know will land with your audience while also fulfilling your personal purpose and business goals is tough.

And describing that to someone else is nigh-on impossible if you haven’t nailed your Most Important Sentence.

So let’s nail it.

Write Your Most Important Sentence

Here’s what makes this different from every other “finish your book” bootcamp out there.

I understand that your book is more than just a creative side-quest—it’s a business asset. It’s supposed to be doing work for you: building your authority, attracting your best-fit clients, getting you on stages and podcasts.

Except it can’t do any of that from inside a drafts folder.

Every month the book stays unfinished is a month it’s not out there making an impact. A fuzzy book idea isn’t only costing you a creative dream, it’s costing you a business asset.

So let’s make it real.

You’ll walk away with your most important sentence.

One sentence that fuses 3 things:

If you’re like most authors I talk to, those three things are pulling in three different directions.

Together, we’re gonna herd those cats and get them pulling the same way.

Schedule:

Day one, we go after your personal throughline. Why this book, why you, why now. We’ll touch on your personal story, and pull out the parts that will resonate most with your audience.

Day two, we bring in the business. What job the book is here to do, and who it’s doing it for (your audience). Then we weld the personal and the business together into your most important sentence.

Each day will be a live one-hour session. And if you want to go deeper, upgrade to a Workshop Seat ticket and stay afterward for hands-on coaching and Q&A.

Who this is for?

This is for you if you’re writing a nonfiction book with a business behind it—a book meant to build real authority, not just look good on a shelf. You’ve got the material: experience, expertise, stories, a point of view.

What you don’t have is the throughline that organizes all of it.

Whether you’re just starting out or have a messy draft that needs more structure, attending Your Most Important Sentence will be super helpful.

(This is not for you if you’re writing fiction. Sorry!)

What happens afterward?

Finding your most important sentence will give you the clarity to push on to a finished draft.

But you might be asking: How do I actually make my notes book-shaped?

That’s what my group coaching cohort is for—six months of turning that one sentence into a mapped, drafted, done manuscript, with my guidance.

The cohort has very limited seats, and starts September 14.

But we’ll talk about that later. For now, we’re starting with one sentence.

The Workshop Seat (optional $47 add-on)

The two days work on their own. You’ll leave with your sentence either way—that’s the promise.

But if you want to go deeper, sign up for a limited seat in the accompanying live workshop.

After each day’s session, you’ll stay on Zoom with me and we work on your sentence—out loud, live, together. This is a great opportunity to get my feedback on your book’s idea, your audience promise, your business goals, and, of course, your Most Important Sentence.

On day one, we’ll work your personal throughline. Day two—the big one—we’ll work your business goals, audience promise, and the full welded sentence.
